What is Upper Buena Vista?
Upper Buena Vista is a small artisan village at 5020–5030 NE 2nd Ave in Miami's Buena Vista neighborhood, just south of the Design District and a short drive from Wynwood and the Miami Design District. Built around a leafy central courtyard, it houses a tight-knit collection of independent boutiques, ateliers, cafés, and restaurants — nearly all of them owner-operated, most of them one-of-one.
Visitors often describe the vibe as "meditative" — a rare thing in Miami. Handcrafted architecture, hanging lanterns, tropical planting, and a deliberately unhurried pace make it feel closer to Tulum or Bali than to South Beach. It's a neighborhood for people who prefer curation to crowds.

- Yes. There is paid city street parking via the Pay by Phone app on both sides of the Upper Buena Vista sanctuary, especially along NE 50th Terrace and along NE 2nd Ave.
- When is Buena Vista Market Fest?
- Buena Vista Market Fests are usually held on Sundays. For the most up-to-date info, visit @buenavistamarketfest on Instagram.
- Best time to visit?
- Late morning through golden hour. Most shops open around 11 AM; the village is quietest and most photogenic just before sunset.
- Is it kid- and dog-friendly?
- Yes. The open-air courtyard is stroller-friendly and most shops and restaurants welcome dogs.
